Shtip
Focus Group for the cultural needs and problems
In order to accumulate information on the cultural needs and problems of the
Shtip citizens, a focus group with 19 participants was held at the ECMI
Regional Centre Shtip. The issues discussed were: citizens' acquaintance
with the religious customs and people's will to get familiar with the
customs of different religions. The outcome is the conclusion that people
don't know much about any religious customs, but they do want to know and
use them as an instrument for mutual recognition. The lack of information
was identified as a main obstacle and it was suggested that in future more
workshops, debates and lecturing on the issue of different religious customs
should be held .
